Sólheimafjara is a safe and big sandy beach in Mýrdalshreppur. It's around 6.61km in length. This beach is also known as Solheimafjara.
Sólheimafjara offers a lot of space for sunbathing.
June, July, August, October are the best months to visit Sólheimafjara and other beaches in Mýrdalshreppur, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
