Salmon Holes Beach is a safe, pristine, beautiful and clean and small sandy beach in Albany. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a nice place. There's nothing like sunbathing au naturel. It's an ideal and safe place for adults to visit in the summer. It has clear water, and friendly locals. The water there is clear, but it's prohibited to swim there, so take a time to enjoy the nature undefined. It's around 0.98km in length. The views are good and the weather is usually nice. Be aware that swimming is not allowed. This beach is also known as Salmon Holes.
Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Dogs allowed all year round. Salmon Holes Beach is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.
January, February, March, December are the best months to visit Salmon Holes Beach and other beaches in Albany, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
