Sandy Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. There is parking space nearby.
There are bicycle path and lifeguards.
The water here is suitable for fishing. Walking can be enjoyed as well.
June, July, August, September are the best months to visit Sandy Beach and other beaches in Monte Rio, because that's when the temperatures are warm and there's probably less crowd (not guaranteed).
