About Skinias Beach

Skinias Beach is a clean, beautiful, pristine, secluded and relaxing and small pebbly beach in Municipality of Palekastron. Everything around you is peaceful, natural, relaxing. It's a clothing optional beach and when it's not crowded it is a nice place. There's nothing like sunbathing and swimming au naturel. It has clear water. You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Municipality of Palekastron beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting. It's around 0.18km in length, which is super small, and there are no shades. It is never crowded here. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. The views are good and the weather is warm all year round. Be aware that bringing dogs, practicing activities, bringing food, smoking, and drinking alcohol is not allowed. This beach is also known as Παραλία Σκινιά.

Safety and Access

Skinias Beach is one of the more challenging beaches to access. It is not wheelchair accessible and difficult for disabled visitors and small children. You can go to this beach by walking or hiking and boat - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Skinias Beach is a great place. Be aware that this is a clothing optional beach (so there might be nudist zones). Due to it's hard access, this beach is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.

Infrastructure

There are cleaning and trails. There are no outside shower, umbrella for rent, and chairs for rent.

Things to do on Skinias Beach

Bring your own food and drink since you cannot buy anything at the beach, and make sure to leave nothing behind but footprints.
