You will find that the water here, as with many of the other Gansbaai beaches is crystal clear and extremely inviting Ideal for snorkeling and for young children. This beach is so pretty that you can spend hours stuck up in its enchantment! There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. The views are amazing. The spectacular scenery includes seaweed, trees, rocks, cliffs, sea shells, and cave - prepare your camera! This beach is also known as Stanfords Baai.

Safety and Access

Getting to Stanford Cove is simple. You can go to this beach by car and walking or hiking. It's pretty easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out or spend time, Stanford Cove is a great place. Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. Stanford Cove is a family-friendly beach, with calm waters that are crystal clear and shallow, perfect for swimming. Stanford Cove is usually calm, laid-back and great for swimming.

Infrastructure

There are shades, cleaning, bicycle path, playground, and trails. There are no umbrella for rent and chairs for rent, so bring your own if you need. But there are some shades to protect yourself from the sun. Nearby there are no food options, so bring plenty of food and water and remember to take all the trash with you.
