Strand Diemerpark is one of the most famous beach of Amsterdam. It has friendly locals, and easy access. It's around 0.3km in length, which is super small. In peak summer months it can be difficult to stake out a peaceful place on the sand because it's a very popular beach among locals. Be aware that drinking alcohol is not allowed. This beach is also known as Diemerpark Beach.

You can go to this beach by bus, boat, and walking or hiking. It's easy to get there, which makes it perfect for families! There are lifeguards on duty, but there are lots of people at the beach so don’t expect them to be looking over your kids only. Keep an eye on them at all times. Dogs allowed all year round. Strand Diemerpark is undeveloped and remote. The cell phone signal is weak there, so be prepared.
