About Ocean Beach
Ocean Beach is a relaxing and big sandy beach in San Francisco. It's around 9.92km in length, and there are no shades. It is never crowded here. There are no amenities so bring what you need and please don't leave anything behind. Be aware that drinking alcohol and smoking is not allowed.
Safety and Access
You can go to this beach by car, bus, boat, and walking or hiking - note that it's not that easy to get there. There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach, so keep that in mind, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hang out, Ocean Beach is a good place. Dogs allowed all year round. There is parking space nearby. Pay attention if you go swimming because there are sharks in the water. The locals might not be that friendly.
